Stained GlassSpring Time

Location: Private Residence - UK Exterior Glazing: Stained Glass with surface treatments – H 1.90 m X W 0.50 m Title: Spring Time Background: Chester Art Glass invited Lydia to create this window for an international company; to be displayed at the Lifestyle Europe Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan (1989). This innovative composition uses the exciting and vibrant colours of irises, poppies, and other Spring flowers. The glass selected is of the finest quality traditionally hand - made, from England and Germany. The subtle gradations of colour were achieved by using a variety of technical processes, which included surface - etching, painting and staining. Due to building alterations at its original location this item is on display at Tapestry Bistro, Swansea until June 27th 2014.
